I was asked why the SDGs must be taught in schools.I immediately started a list, it was so obvious. I came up with answer after answer, soon I was over 50 answers. Then it hit me! It doesn't matter if I find 5, or 50 or 500 or 5000 reasons. Their rose colored glasses won't let them understand! Today I present to you my list! More than 50 reasons why our children must get involved in the search, and why it must begin today. I hope it will reach someone, but my search goes on, there must be a why which someone will understand.

How do you make the impossible come to life? Our children have the ideas, they only need to be trained to let them go free. Once schools begin teaching about the SDGs and their glasses come off, it's only a matter of time before they begin. We call all school aged people!
Start today, make your ideas come to life. M.C. Escher showed us that the impossible is possible, but that was on paper. Draw yourself into the answer and change the world. The club needs you! Together the impossible will become reality. What future do you wish for them?We humans are ruining our world! Their world, the one our children will inherit! We've been taught from birth to strive to be more than our parents were. Our parents forced it into our heads, our friends heard the same things, we fit in. Teachers reinforced it by teaching us what they had been taught and accepted as fact. Television and social media added to our brainwashing by showing us more of the same. Most of us have grown numb to the true state of Mother Nature and still ignore it today. Worse yet, we're numb to the suffering of millions while we concentrate on ourselves. The constant bombardment of our children with advertising and ways for them to spend time, is teaching them to hide from reality, pushing them into a world where only things matter. The club says this MUST stop before it's too late. We want to show them that they are needed for bigger things. We are beginning in schools, by teaching the truth about the world as seen through the SDGs and allowing children to decide for themselves if they want to ignore it. The club doesn't ask for much!1. Anyone can afford one hour per week, but put to the right task it's worth everything. 2. $1.00 per month means nothing to you, but it's enough to feed a poor family for days. 3. We all like to tell others about our hobbies, your club activities need to be talked about. Nothing more, but nothing less is asked, we accept no money. We believe that children will be interested and we ask adults to support them! The club is open to all humans, we discriminate against no one. |
